With a switch of a lever, the user can use the adjustable handle to pull the light out from the "shoe" base. Depressing a spring loaded button at the front of the shoe enables the light to slide out of the shoe base. The shoe base itself can be magnetically mounted in a single position, but the light can be slid out of the shoe and used in a portable manner. The entire base of the light is a suction cup mount platform. Thus, the light can be placed on any flat surface and the suction mount can be engaged to hold the light temporarily. However, the user can replace the light into the magnetic shoe base to secure it for extended travel or excessive vibration. The magnetic shoe base can also be permanently mounted if the situation requires.
The light is capable of 370 degrees of motorized rotation and 135 degrees motorized tilt.
The 65 watt bulb draws 5.5 amps and projects a flood beam that is approximately 65 feet long by 35 feet wide.
Handheld wired remote control and 16 foot power cord with cigarette plug. The wiring harness is a Y-shaped, with the cord attached to the light at one end and cigarette plug at the other end. The handheld remote control is in the center, linking the two cords. This enables the controller to turn the light on/off in addition to adjusting the tilt and rotation.
The Golight remote controlled flood lights are made to be used outside in bad weather. Golights are UV proof and weatherproof. You can splash them with water and leave them in the rain. They are normally used on vehicles, heavy equipment and boats.
